Bonaire IDC is delivered through VIP Diving, a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort. It's where the classroom, tanks, trucks, equipment and real-world dive operations come together.

How many dives do I need?
We'll confirm your experience and applicable PADI requirements before your IDC.
How long does the IDC take?
The schedule is planned around the IDC program and IE preparation.
What happens if I fail something?
We'll talk through what happened, what can be remediated and your next step.
Is the IE included?
We'll clearly show what is included and which PADI or IE fees are separate.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. We'll discuss what to bring and what can be arranged locally.
Can I rent equipment?
Yes. Rental and equipment logistics can be discussed before you arrive.
Where should I stay?
We can point you toward practical accommodation close to the training base.
Do I need a car?
We'll explain the island logistics and what makes the most sense for your stay.
Can I do MSDT afterwards?
Yes. MSDT and specialty instructor training can be planned after the IDC.
Can I arrive early?
Absolutely. Arriving early can be useful for settling in and diving before the IDC.
Can I stay after the IDC?
Yes. Extra diving and training can be planned around your stay.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Let us know as soon as possible and we'll look at what can be adjusted.
Can I combine the IDC with Tec training?
Often, yes. We'll plan additional technical training around your IDC workload.
